Citrix Password Manager(TM) and its Hot Desktop feature can safeguard shared workstations with required authentication and audit controls -- while simplifying access. Citrix SmoothRoaming(TM) technology further enhances productivity by allowing users' sessions to move with them from one workstation to the next.
Gemalto .NET smart cards can be used with Citrix products to enhance the security and the credibility of audit trails with strong, two-factor authentication. Two factor authentication protects user identities by requiring users to log on with something they know-a unique PIN-and with something they have in their possession-the Gemalto .NET smart card.
Wyse Technology integrates both the Password Manager Agent and a smart card reader with the company's Microsoft Windows XPe line of thin clients, allowing healthcare workers to swiftly and securely access vital information without compromising on security. This solution provides users with a secure single sign-on system for Microsoft Windows, Web-based and hosted applications while supporting the most popular ISO 7816 Class A and AB smart card standards. Wyse Technology also supports integrated, keyboard and standalone smart card readers across its product line providing customers with even more flexibility.
